The best teacher feedback I have seen in my career.
— Anne Marie Canning, Head of WP, King's College London
I started teaching in 1982 … this is the single most useful thing I’ve taken part in as a teacher. I was very impressed by the rigour of the research and the practical suggestions about how to apply the findings.
— Mark Morley-Souter, Clacton Coastal Academy

How the Teacher Support Programme Works

(a) Conference workshops

1. Review

Teachers review the latest research in university applications which reveal how admissions tutors read personal statements and references.

(b) Further support

1. Feedback

Teachers send in a sample of personal statements and references for expert feedback.

Schools are given use of online subject-specific resources for improving references and personal statements.

3. Embed

Attendees create an action plan based on tested strategies for spreading and embedding improvements for all staff.

3. Follow-up

Follow-up consultation with schools evaluating steps toward achieving your school's specific targets.
